One of our main resources on international politics passed away, today, at age 100.
He was a devisive character with his opponents calling him a war criminal and others calling for him to recieve the nobel prize for peace. Revered by the Repulicans and hated by the Democrats and Liberals.
I found him useful as a resource and read a number of his books which are part of the RSC library, as he had been at the centre of world changing events during the 20th century and he realy knew how the world worked. His insight into world events was also useful if you understood and factored in his political stance and philosophy.
He was at the centre of things under the Republicans in the USA, until he fell out of favour in Washington and has been working as an adviser to business, governments and organisations until his recent passing.
