RSC Offers a number of programs that will lead to this qualification which is fully accepted by the FSB as a qualification that will result in a FSP or Representative meeting the fit and proper requirements for “fit and proper”

NC Wealth Management

These are:

NC Wealth Management – General Financial Planning  136 credits

This program will cover the following areas that would be required by a financial adviser offering advice to clients on general personal financial planning and includes:

  • Ethical Environment
  • Economic Environment
  • Risk and Risk Mitigation
  • Financial Needs Analysis, Sales and Marketing Skills
  • Retirement Planning
  • Tax and Estate Planning
  • Investment Planning
  • Wealth Management

NC Wealth Management – Short-term and Risk Management 130 credits

This program will cover the following areas that would be required by a planner providing advice on risk management and short-term insurance:

  • Ethical Environment
  • Economic Environment
  • Risk and Risk Mitigation
  • Tax
  • Financial Needs Analysis, Sales and Marketing Skills
  • Fundamental Risk and insurance
  • Consequences of Large Risks
  • Business Risk and Alternative Risk Transfer

This program is only suitable for learners who have high-level experience in the short term industry in commercial lines and specialist insurance products.

Learners involved in personal lines insurance or are fairly new to the industry should rather attempt the level 4 Short-term Insurance qualification which is not offered by RSC at this strage.

NC Wealth Management – Long  Term and Risk Management 130 credits

This program will cover the following areas that would be required by a planner providing advice on risk management and long-term insurance:

  • Ethical Environment
  • Economic Environment
  • Risk and Risk Mitigation
  • Tax
  • Financial Needs Analysis, Sales and Marketing Skills
  • Fundamental Risk and insurance
  • Consequences of a large Risk

NC Wealth Management – Health Risk Management 127 credits

This program will cover the following areas that would be required by a planner providing advice on health risk management and is done in conjunction with IHRM.

  • Ethical Environment
  • Economic Environment
  • Risk and Risk Mitigation
  • Tax
  • Financial Needs Analysis, Sales and Marketing Skills
  • Health Risk Management
